SnakTool Terms of Use

These terms set the ground rules for using SnakTool. The service provides browser-based tools and documentation; you remain responsible for choosing material you are authorized to process and checking whether an output is suitable for its intended use. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

1. Service scope and availability

SnakTool provides the current browser tools without requiring an account or subscription. Features, supported formats and resource limits are described on their tool pages. Availability and compatibility are not guaranteed for every browser, device or file.

Tools and documentation may change as the product is maintained. Keep copies of important originals and downloaded results. The website is not a document storage, backup or recovery service.

2. Your inputs, permissions and lawful use

You retain responsibility for the files, text and other data you choose to process, including permissions needed to use or share them. Do not use the service to infringe rights, bypass access controls without authorization or interfere with the site.

Unlock PDF requires a known password; it is not a recovery or cracking service. Local execution does not grant permission to alter a document or remove protection. You remain responsible for the resulting copy.

3. Acceptable use

Use SnakTool lawfully and in a way that does not damage, overload, disrupt or attempt to compromise the service or other systems. Do not introduce malicious code, probe for unauthorized access, evade technical restrictions or falsely represent SnakTool as endorsing your activity.

Do not use a tool to infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights, or to bypass access controls where you are not authorized to do so. Technical ability to perform an operation does not create permission to perform it.

  • Do not attack, overload or interfere with the service.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to SnakTool or another system.
  • Do not process or distribute material in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.
  • Do not remove protections from material unless you are authorized to do so.
  • Do not present a SnakTool output as independently verified or certified by SnakTool.

4. Review outputs before relying on them

Conversion can change layout, fonts, image quality or document features. Rewriting signed PDFs can invalidate signatures. A successful download does not prove that every detail has been retained.

Calculators and unit converters provide informational results from specified inputs and assumptions. Financial estimates are not lender quotes or financial advice; BMI is not medical advice or diagnosis; date calculations do not establish legal deadlines. Security-related utilities do not replace an application’s authentication or security review.

5. Calculators and informational tools

Calculator and converter results depend on the inputs, units, formulas and assumptions described on their pages. They are informational estimates, not a lender's contractual schedule, professional financial advice, medical diagnosis, legal advice, tax advice or an official measurement where one is required.

Developer and security utilities also have limited roles. Decoding a JWT does not verify its signature, formatting JSON does not validate an application's business rules, and generating a hash does not by itself create a complete security protocol.

6. Changes, resource limits and availability

SnakTool may reject inputs that exceed supported formats, browser capabilities or configured resource limits. Processing can fail because of device memory, browser behavior, malformed data or unsupported features inside an otherwise familiar format.

Features, limits, documentation and tools may be corrected, changed, added or removed as the service evolves. SnakTool does not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent support for a particular format or compatibility with every browser and device.

7. Content, intellectual property and third-party components

Using a tool does not transfer ownership of your input to SnakTool. Site content and third-party software components remain subject to their applicable rights and licenses. Do not imply endorsement or ownership that you do not have.

Linked references are provided for context. Their availability, content and handling of information are outside the tool’s local processing workflow.

8. External links and services

Documentation may link to standards, reference material or other websites. Those destinations are operated independently, can change without SnakTool's control and may collect information under their own policies.

Once you choose to leave SnakTool or send information through another service, that third party's terms, privacy practices and availability apply to that interaction.

9. Responsibility and limits

The service is provided as available, without a promise of error-free results or uninterrupted access. To the extent applicable law permits, SnakTool does not accept responsibility for loss caused by relying on an unchecked result or losing an original file. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

For a question about these terms or the service, contact [email protected].

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the service, legal requirements or operating model changes. The published version applies to use of the service from the time it is made available, subject to any notice or consent that applicable law requires.

If a change is material to how the service is offered, SnakTool should present it in a way appropriate to that change rather than relying on hidden wording.

11. Contact

For a question about these terms, a tool limitation or the service, email [email protected]. Do not include passwords, live tokens, private documents or sensitive tool input merely to ask a question.

Privacy-specific information about local processing, website requests and support correspondence is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
